Trip Planning

Less than a month until we hit the road and there's so much to do! We've given notice to our landlords and our jobs, May 29, 15 is our last working day. The car is back from the shop with brand new breaks and ready to hit the road. Our hard earned savings are piled up and our Alaskan Ferry rides have been reserved.

Because the Alaska Marine Highway requires reservations so far in advance, we've had to loosely plot our our first forty days. After that, we only have a loose idea of where we're going to be and we'd like to keep as much flexibility as possible.

A Rough Guide to our Road Trip Route. 

Google Maps limits the number of points on a route you can have so here is a hastily mashed together map of the Yukon-Alaska portion of the trip. We are also planning to stop in Sitka, AK after Juneau but for some reason I was unable to add it to the map. The Dempster Highway point on the map represents Tombstone Territorial Park.
